田村作品を随所に用いたお茶のおもてなしには、秋田の銘菓を添えて。

長く雪に覆われる冬の山
確かな命が芽吹く春の山
翠豊かに風そよぐ夏の山
黄金の稲穂揺れる秋の山

山を敬い、山を畏れ、
山とともに生きる人がいる。


The winter mountains, long covered in snow,
The spring mountains, where new life unfailingly sprouts,
The summer mountains, lush and swayed by gentle breezes,
The autumn mountains, where golden rice stalks sway.

There are people who revere the mountains, fear the mountains,
And live together with the mountains.




有機的で官能的なフォルムの造形美と、
実用性にも富んだ機能美。
その両方を兼ね備え、
国内外に多くのファンを持つ田村一が今年も登場。
地元秋田の工房は山の中腹に位置し、
四季折々の山の変化と共に在る。
虫も獣も草花も、
皆それぞれが山と共に生きている。
揺るがない大きな聖域としての山に抱かれ、
一つ一つに命が吹き込まれるように
作品は今日も生み出される。
昔も今も、お山に棲む物。
口伝で受け継がれてきた「それら」は、
見えない手を轆轤に添えて、
田村一の作品に宿っている。


With organic and sensual sculptural beauty coupled with practical functionality,
TAMURA Hajime returns this year, beloved by fans both in Japan and around the world.
His studio in his hometown of Akita is located halfway up a mountain, and he is present with the seasonal changes of the mountain.
Insects, beasts, plants, and flowers all live with the mountains.
Embraced by the mountain as an unshakable sanctuary, each piece is created as if infused with life.
From ancient times to the present, “things” that have lived in the mountains.
These “things” that have been passed down orally reside in TAMURA Hajime's creations with his invisible hand on the potter's wheel.
