| 日 本 料 理 か ら 陶 芸 へ 華 麗 な る 転 身 を 遂 げ 、 見 据 え る 先 に は 自 身 の 料 理 と 器 を 提 供 す る 店 を 持 つ 野 望 。 織 部 、 朝 鮮 唐 津 、 墨 流 塩 釉 な ど 多 様 な ス タ イ ル に 貪 欲 に 挑 戦 し 、 進 境 著 し く 注 目 を 集 め る 穂 高 隆 児 。 ２ ０ １ ８ 年 に 開 催 し た 「 一 日 一 盌 」 １ ０ ０ ０ 盌 記 念 展 以 来 の 白 白 庵 で の 個 展 と な る 今 回 、 世 界 を 広 く 覆 う コ ロ ナ 禍 の 下 で 、 改 め て 人 類 と 「 食 」 の 関 わ り を 考 え る 契 機 と な る だ ろ う 。 人 が 人 で あ る 限 り 、 天 か ら の 恵 で あ る 食 物 を 盛 る 「 器 」 は 必 要 不 可 欠 で 重 要 な 存 在 で あ る 。 お 茶 、 お 酒 を 飲 む 器 、 花 を 生 け る 器 も ま た 同 じ 。 食 べ る こ と 、 飲 む こ と を 大 切 に す る か ら こ そ 、 選 ぶ べ き 器 が こ こ に あ る 。 今 を 生 き る 私 た ち は 、 今 目 の 前 に あ る 世 界 を 喰 ら う 。 |
| He has made a brilliant transition from Japanese cuisine chef to ceramic artist. His ambition is to open a restaurant that serves his own cuisines and vessels. HODAKA Ryuji has made remarkable progress and gathered attention in the field of ceramic art, and has been enthusiastically challenging various styles such as ORIBE, Korean Karatsu, and salt glaze marbling. This will be his first solo exhibition at PAKUPAKUAN since the memorial exhibition held in 2018 to celebrate the 1000th bowl for the "One Day, One Bowl" project. This exhibition will be an opportunity to rethink the relationship between humanity and "food" in the midst of the COVID-19. As long as we are human beings, "vessels" for serving food, which is a blessing from heaven, are essential and important. Vessels for drinking tea and alcohol or vases for arranging flowers are the same. Because we value eating and drinking, there are vessels to choose from. Living in the present, we eat the world that is right in front of us. |
