一階茶室にて、目黒の蟠龍寺の副住職・吉田龍雄氏をお迎えし、恒例の「法話茶会」を行います。
今回は「夏の宵茶会」の名の通り、夕刻からの開催となります。
「行雲流水」の表す意味を解きほぐし、世の無常と向き合う心得などを浄土宗の教義を引用しながらお話し頂きます。
夕闇迫る中、作品と法話とお茶の三位一体を楽しむ幽玄のひとときを、どうぞお楽しみください!

空を行く雲、川を流れる水は一時も同じ状態ではない。
「行雲流水」とは世の無常を表わした言葉であります。
順風満帆な人生などあり得ない。
どんなに障害があり、さまざまな困難が続いても、
常に心は一処にとどまらず、執着せず、雲の如く無心にして淡々と・・・
そんな風に生きられたら良いですが、現実にはそう簡単ではありません。

思い通りにいかない事、思いがけぬ出来事に喜怒哀楽を振り撒き
己の欲に執着し、いつまで経っても無心など訪れず夢を追うばかり。
そんな人間だからこそ、真夏の宵に水を浴びるが如く一服の茶を。
嗚呼、やはり行雲にも流水にもなれぬとしても、茶ノ湯のロマンは手離せない。


Clouds in the sky and water flowing in rivers are never in the same state.
“KO-UN, RYU-SUI” is a phrase that expresses the impermanence of the world.
There is no such thing as a smooth sailing life.
No matter how many obstacles and difficulties we face, we must always keep our minds focused on one place and not get attached to anything.
It would be nice if we could live like that, but in reality it is not so easy.

We are always so attached to our own greed, and we are always chasing after our dreams without ever being at peace.
It is precisely because we are such a human being that we should enjoy a bowl of tea as if we were bathing in water on a midsummer's evening.
Ah, even though we cannot be KO-UN (drifting clouds) or RYU-SUI (flowing water), we cannot let go of the romance of Chanoyu.



四百年以上の時を経て醸成された茶の湯の文化を、現在から未来へ、日本から世界へと変換・発展させる白白庵。
毎年恒例の人気企画「夏の宵茶会」は、「陰影礼賛」や「幽玄の美」、「青山白雲」「茶室の怪人」をテーマに開催を重ねてきました。
今年は「行雲流水」をテーマに、バリエーション豊かな実力派作家達の作品が一堂に集まります。
そして華道家・山田尚俊による艶やかな装花が、会場に彩を添えます。
初日は浄土宗 蟠龍寺・副住職の吉田龍雄師による「法話茶会」、
二日目には酒数奇者・佐々木達郎による「季節の日本酒と 作家の器の利き酒会」が行われます。
営業時間を文字通り夕刻に移しての夏の風物企画、どうぞ涼しい店内でゆったりと寛ぎながらお楽しみください!


PAKUPAKUAN transforms and develops the culture of Chanoyu (Tea Ceremony), which has been fostered over 400 years, from the present to the future, from Japan to the world.
The popular annual "Summer Night Tea Ceremony" has been held repeatedly under the themes of "In Praise of Shadows" "The Beauty of YUGEN” "SEIZAN HAKUUN（Immovable mountain & moving cloud)" and "The Phantom of the Tea Room".
This year's theme is “KO-UN, RYU-SUI” and a wide variety of works by talented artists will be gathered under one roof.
The venue will be adorned with vibrant floral arrangements by YAMADA Shoshun, a flower master.
On the first day, a “Sermon Tea Ceremony" will be held by YOSHIDA Tatsuo, Vice-chief priest of BANRYU-JI temple of the Jodo sect,
On the second day, SASAKI Tatsuro, Man of well-cultivated tastes for sake, will hold a sake tasting event featuring seasonal sake and sake vessels made by artists.
Please enjoy this summer event, which literally moves its opening hours to the evening, while relaxing in the cool atmosphere of the venue!
